San Ignacio Glamping Camp
Glamping in San Ignacio Lagoon — the home of the friendly gray whales
San Ignacio Lagoon is one of Baja’s most remote and remarkable destinations — and our Glamping Camp sits right on its shores. This UNESCO protected lagoon is the last undeveloped nursery and breeding ground for the Pacific gray whale — offering some of the most extraordinary whale encounters on Earth.
Thoughtfully designed to protect this pristine environment, the camp follows a strict zero-footprint philosophy — which means at the end of each season, the landscape is left exactly as it was found. The ultimate adventure, enjoyed responsibly.
San Ignacio Glamping Tents
Each private tent is windproof and heated for maximum comfort — a welcome detail in the remote El Vizcaíno desert. Featuring an ensuite bathroom with hot shower, comfortable full-size or twin beds, fine linens, and 24-hour power. Cozy, private, and perfectly suited to the desert surroundings.
- 12 glamping tents (queen or twin bed configuration)
- 2 family tents (bunk beds for kids, queen or twin for parents)
- Private ensuite bathroom
- Fine linens & bedding
- Electric blankets
- 24-hour power
- Private outdoor seating area on deck
The Camp
Both the Glamping and Luxury Camp have their own dedicated dining tent with freshly prepared, locally inspired fine dining, and a cosy club tent with an honour bar stocked with craft beer, wine, and single malt scotch.
As the sun sets over the desert, gather around the palapa fire pit or head to our converted school bus dive bar — hand-painted marine life murals inside and out, leather La-Z-Boy recliners facing the lagoon, and a viewing deck above the dunes with the best sunset views in camp. Unpretentious, full of character, and serving what we’re fairly certain are the best mojitos in Baja. Or simply lean back and lose yourself in some of the most spectacular night skies you could ever imagine.
